Gladiator. Better than Before.

Gladiator recently spent just over three months at Rybovich Marina where she received a number of impressive upgrades to further improve the guest experience.

Gladiator and her crew pulled into Rybovich in mid-March of this year prepared for just over three months of hard graft. And the end result, a yacht that provides its guests with a heightened onboard charter experience. From behind-the-scenes engineering upgrades to new gym equipment and an exterior facelift, we are excited to showcase the fresh and improved Gladiator.

Significant Updates

Immediately evident and probably one of the biggest jobs undertaken was a full repaint of Gladiator’s exterior, covering both the hull and superstructure. Another significant upgrade was the installation of a new bridge navigation system called ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System). This means that Gladiator is now fully paperless and that plotting routes anywhere in the world can be done at the touch of a button. Further engineering updates included the installation of a new Power Management System as well as general maintenance and improvements that contribute to the continued smooth running of the yacht.

Stay Connected

Substantial improvements and changes were made to the Gladiator Audio Visual and IT systems. This included upgrading the yachts 4G capabilities, meaning faster internet and more bandwidth for guests. The VSAT hardware and software were also upgraded to improve the satellite internet speeds. In addition, more access points were added throughout the yacht so that you can be connected at all times and in all areas during your stay.

Guests can now also choose from a vast selection of movies and series using the new “Pulse” entertainment system, and Apple TV has been installed in all guest cabins and guest areas (12 in total), meaning you can stream in any room or on any exterior deck. For the ultimate movie night, a custom outdoor cinema has also been installed on the sun deck.

Get Active

If staying active during your charter is a priority, the Gladiator beach club gym has been kitted out with all new Technogym equipment, including a bike, a rower and weight benches, and with a new AV system and Apple TV you can stream workout videos or your favourite playlist.

If more high-octane activities are your preference, Gladiators already impressive water toy collection has been enhanced with the addition of a second Seabob and E-foil board as well as all-new paddleboards. The yacht is also awaiting the arrival of two new kayaks and a new Schiller bike. And if one 48-foot Anvera chase boat wasn’t enough, Gladiator will soon have two, one for use in the Mediterranean and one that will be ready for use in the Caribbean this winter season.

Finishing Touches

Further cosmetic upgrades included a new carpet in the main salon and new awnings on the bridge and sun decks. In addition, Gladiator is awaiting the arrival of new custom umbrellas for the sun deck and beach club deck areas.

With future updates and shipyard periods in the pipeline, Gladiator will continue to exceed the expectations of all who step aboard.
